Are you sensing a nudging in your heart to go where needs are greater?

Are you feeling like you need to leave the secure and familiar for the sake of Jesus? This is also part of following Jesus for He told us; “As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”

Paul certainly felt this and modeled a missionary lifestyle: I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else’s foundation, but as it is written,”Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand.” -Romans 15:19-20

This is the heartbeat of Christar.

The men and women of Christar have covenanted together to declare Jesus among those who have never heard. One third of the world lives in communities where there is no gathering of believers. Nearly 90% of all Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists do not personally know a Christ follower and we are committed to live in such places until everyone has an opportunity to know Jesus.

If you feel tugged toward these kind of needy places come check it out on a short-term trip.

We have also learned a lot over the years about relating to Muslims and Hindus and we’d love to share it with you; consider our Manarah and Darshan programs.

If you would like to start a conversation with us about long-term service check out Next Steps and complete the Preliminary Information Form.
